Haha, the joke here is....err, there's no jokes.My god, this must be my most serious work ever.
Fitting for the tragedy of Megaman legends 3.
Ghaah, it was the main reason I even bought the damn 3ds.
Ah well, there's still other games...like...ehh..that..eh..
Lego pirates?...which I beat in one weekend...and could have bought for the regular DS....err..
Oh, Ocarina of time! Played that for 3 hours, untill it reminded me again why I didn't like the original all that much to begin with. Bleh (throws 3ds back in a dark corner)

The picture that instantly got me interested in this series.
The problem with RPG's is that they usually come in 2 flavors, either it's a brainless "You're the chosen one, find the 7 crystals and kill Generic Mc Villain who escaped from his seal" nonsense, or it's a dark gritty and incomprehensible poetry mess.
However, very occasionaly there's, as they're called, "Cliché storms. Which sounds more negative then it is, it's basically the Indiana Jones/ Star Wars of the RPG world, the type of games that gleefully grab every cliché imaginable, throw in some colourful cheerful characters and a few bucketloads of adventure and we're off.
They're my favorite games, Grandia 1, Skies of Arcadia, and of course Megaman legends (And Nostalgia for the DS did a brave attempt, but failed)
Zelda hooks people because of the mystery and mystical background stuff (which I hate), Final fantasy hooks people for their epicness (Which I don't care about if the story/characters haven't earned it yet)
Megaman legends won me over, strangely, by it's mondane details. Megaman legends 2 opens with Roll sitting in her piama while Megaman serves her breakfast.
A cute little scene that sells their bond together a ton more then all the endless friendship speeches that keep getting hammered into your head in Square Enix games.
The only thing Legends is missing is a good big bad guy.
The Bonne family is awesome, refreshingly nice for each other, goofy and energetic, but they're basically Team Rocket.
There doesn't seem to be any big villains.
First you have Megaman Juno or whatever who comes out of nowhere, and is mostly weird. And then there's mistress Sera, who doesn't have many big scenes or a decent introduction.
Tough props to having a female main villain. Never saw that in any other RPGe, other then Mario and Luigi saga.
Anyway, legends 1 and 2 are awesome, I'm still desperatly trying to get my hands on Misadventures of Tron Bonne somewhere.
And as for Legends 3... sigh. And the upcming phoenix wright games won't get released? Ghah, can someone please fire Troll face? Who put that asshole in the capcom management team anyway?
Ah well, maybe I could animate my own Megaman legends 3 some day.
Huh, speaking of which, Kingdumb hearts BBS part 1, this week.

Not sure if that helps, the playable demo was supposed to be Capcom's big reality check on how many people would buy this game.
Cancelling even that makes it clear they don't even care how many people would buy the game.

Yeah, Capcom is acting like a dick lately. Not releasing the newer Pheonix Wright games nor releasing that Megaman Battle Network game that had the Starforce storyline and of course, cancelling two potentially good Megaman games that would have helped them with sales. WTF, Capcom?!
Atleast for me, I can check out Star Fox 64, Luigi's Mansion 2, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Mario 3D, Smash Bros and more. In the meantime I still have SSF4 and RE.
Anyway nice picture, dude. I like how it resembles an anime-like poster. It looks really well drawn and the blur effect was well done, too.

Oh yeah!! Smash Bros Brawl kept getting delayed time and time again. That was a nuisance.
I kinda anticipated it, until I was disappointed with the roster, online mode and certain aspects of the story mode. That was just me.

Such a shame such a promising project was shut down by Capcom, so they can continue re-releasing half made fighting games at top dollar : / Think the fans could do a better job then that company these days : B

Well that's a shame. Personally, I don't care much for that contraption. I never followed Mega Man so I'm not bothered by the cancellation. The only game I would be interested on that console is Luigi's Mansion 2, and by the time it's released, there might be a chance that the price of the 3DS will have dropped. Then again, I liked the first game and I don't want to tarnish it's memory so I think I'm going to stay away from Nintendo for a while. Heck, I'd prefer Vita, if only for the fact that they're trying something new and advancing a little. Plus, they'll probably have more games available on it's release date.
What is this, "Misadventures of Trombone?" What in the world is that, a whole game on slide cacophony? I mean, what the... oh, Tron Bonne. Sorry, I see what I expect to see.

Yeah, I didn't know that Tron Bonne was in the same universe as Megaman. I found a review on Megaman Legends 1 which does involve him going around in dungeons and kicking cans & dogs. I'm thinking of checking out this series as i think there is a Megaman legends game for the N64. I like how colourful this looks of them going around in vehicles.

personally, I prefer legends 2 over 1, since it's more of a regular RPG, going from village to village with each their own dungeon, rather then having one big island and interchanging dungeons in Legends 1.

Yeah, they're a few little things you can do like that yeah.
I lovei t when games have pointless yet fun little details and jokes in teh background. In legends 2 there's manga's and posters with megaman x characters hidden all over the place, or even a television where you see a few shots of the old Classic megaman cartoon playing.

Can't blame you for being unimpressed with the current 3DS game library. I'm waiting until something I really want comes out before considering to buy it, I love Ocarina of Time but... I'm not spending 250 € + *whatever the price of Zelda is* to play a game I already played through multiple times, so I'll pass on this one.

Checking a poll on GameFAQS on most hated game company right now. Capcom has officially surpassed Activision as the most hated game company. The decisions they make far surpass Sony's stupidity.
I've never played Megaman Legends but I can see how tragic this is. It's disgusting of them to just drop this game AND still not put Megaman X in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 when it was the top voted character wanted in the game in America and Japan and yet they still put in Phoenix Wright. They had no other reason to not put X in other than wanting Firebrand instead because they wanted a "beast" character.
Simply put, they hate Megaman. The franchise that defined them. That made them. It was before they spammed Street Fighter and Resident Evil. And now they're betraying that franchise and all their fans out of spite towards Inafune's departure from Capcom.
Their selfishness, greed, ignorance and arrogance will not go unpunished. It won't happen immediately but soon enough they'll get what's coming to them. Especially with people rioting and protesting their official blog.

It means they're trolling us with the fact there's no new Megaman Legends game and yet they're putting in things related to Megaman Legends.
And it's funny, before this news, I recently bought Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition (First edition I bought on the console mind you).
I'm not sure i'd be able to buy Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3. The game is about 4 months away, maybe they could change the game a bit to add in Megaman X and another Marvel character. Maybe Daredevil. He's a lawyer so it'd be awesome him going up against Phoenix Wright.

Well, Legends 3 was cancelled because it wasn't meeting the company's standards. So how good of a game it would have been is questionable.
But don't worry, Roger. There are plenty of other games that look promising coming out for the 3DS later this year or early next year: Animal Crossing 3D, Dream Drop Distance, Mario Kart 3DS, Kid Icarus: Uprsing, Paper Mario 3D, Sonic Generations, Super Mario 3D, Star Fox 3D, and Super Smash Bros 3D. Unfortunately, these are a while away, with most having no set release date. Gah, why did Nintendo decide to release the good games so long after the 3DS's release? The only game that's out that was really hyped is OoT 3D, and that won't tide the fans over for long, considering it's the same freaking game everyone has already played.
Also, Bored to Sleep later this week? Awesome!

I didnt say the 3ds is completely useless, just that it sucks to spend several month's savings to buy it, just to see it collecting dust by lack of software for the first year and a half.
I bought the gamecube on openings day, just to see it rust away after Smash bros was the only good game for the first 2 years of it's existance. Since then, I swore never to buy any console again untill it has at least 2 or 3 games I like.
I broke my rule for the 3ds because Megaman legends 3 was slated to have it's demo version released when the nintendo shop would open, and a playeble demo of megaman count as 3 games to me.

*sigh* RPG's nowadays are dead to me, maybe there might be a few out there are worth playing it that im not aware of it, but im just so shocked with my favourite franchise's recent work...im talking about Final Fantasy of course.
Hell, I haven't even finished playin' FF XIII (for lack of interest) and the next one will be a SEQUEL!! *face palm*
ugh...I just hope that FF type-0 will be good enough for me to regain hope for this Franchise or else I just forsake FF for good and stick with Square Enix's last survivor...Kingdom Hearts.

Hey Roger....I know we are all annoyed by Capcom's Megaman Cancellation, but come on...we have some really good 3ds games coming up like...Kingdom Hearts, Mario and Sonic At the 2012 games and for some strange reason Michael Jackson the experience....despite the fact that it will be exactly the same as the Ds game....
