Description
To go along with the rest of my Omega 7 work, I decided to give the team a "helicarrier" akin to what SHIELD had in the AVENGERS.

Starting with the 1/542 Revell USS Saratoga and some extra bits, I went to build a custom 1/700 scale "helicarrier" along the lines of what we saw in the Avengers.
The main kit hull was modded with styrene and bits to get the new profile.
Rear thrusters were added from syringes, balsa, and Aves.
The hoverfans were aircraft wheels mounted in balsa frames and detailed from there.
Markings were custom, or from PGMS

The smaller aircraft are from Trumpeter models
The larger aircraft on the center elevator is a 1/700 scale version of my earlier "Changewind One" build.
