Description
For this year's Big Spring Contest over at scalemodeladdict.com, I decided to build a larger version of my old Viper/Raider hybrid, or "Shadowdemon"This was built using the 1/32 scale Viper Mk7 and 1/32 Cylon Raider kits made by Moebius Models.
The cockpit was detailed with a photoetch set from ParaGrafix.
The markings are a combination of decals from the Viper kit and some made myself.
The original concept idea was given to me by

I remember seeing this as drawn images some years ago, I loved the concept. But to actually see it as a model kit was just a different scale of wow 
And it is very nice it has a backstory, so I guess you do have your own BSG-style story?

Some years ago I also had plans for some BSG stories, but lots of stuff happened (mostly bad due t osome people) that made me forget about BSG until recently. Oh well, maybe I'll manage to do something eventually, hehehe.

I guess your rpg ended quite differently than the canon story, I would do the same if I continue with my own plan

About the only other really "custom" stuff would be the Solaria herself, and I'm sure I have pics in here of her.

I thought the Solaria was a modernized Galactica-style battlestar with the extra pylons. Since I already made the Galactica-type ships (I call it Jupiter class by the book "The Science of Battlestar Galactica") I may try making my own version of the Solaria, if you allow me, of course

Since I consider "Blood & Chrome" something made without an adult's supervision, the more armored version I have made is like the Battlestar Columbia from Razor. That may work well for the Solaria...I may have to do something nice for the extra pylons.
However I am busy nowadays, but as soon as I do something I will let you know

But I liked the intro and recap.
For my own story, I thought there was a Cylon infiltrator aboard my custom Battlestar, whofelt in love with a senior officer and she hacked the hacked CNP, allowing the ship to survive.

Solaria's survival was twin parts of CNP caused luck, actually.
First, the safeties on her FTL failed.
Then, just as things were about to go boom, her FTL malfunctioned and spun up.

Solaria knew how bad things were while they were purging the CNP and restoring from backup.
Definitely frustrated.

I guess they were able to listen to comm traffic until it finally stopped. That moment should have frozen lots of people in Solaria's crew.
Can I ask what did they do if they couldn't follow the Galactica?

They just missed meeting the Galactica at Ragnar.
Failing that, they took their own path. A path that led them, eventually, to a different Earth

I myselkf wouldn't also have a big fleet... but somehow I always wanted to have a Ringship, I love that ship and how it is a mobile "stanford torus" colony
