After Several people asked me about these two photos: [link] [link] , I submit this one to show how it's done.The Nikon SB800 flash is on a tripod, illuminating Nina from an angle up close. the flash is working wirelessly with the camera.

A beautiful warm and dramatic shot. I think the mix of natural and artificial light (which I'm sure must be quite a challenge) makes for something strikingly different.

No matter this is supposed to show the technique you used.. This still is an unique piece. It's kind of funny how all looks so "set-up", like a studio with a huge canvas as background and if you'd glance a bit more you'd see just blank walls of some hall. And still this is real. Surreal. And beautiful as well. Great work here and of course with the flying-photos, they're two of my favourites in your gallery.

ah, low angle. that makes sense.
it's just kinda hard to jump high when you're on sand.
