Sometimes you can feel stuck, like from the moment you jut down a few lines on the canvas it just feels wrong and uninspiring. To stay motivated and push through when drawing get to this point I sometimes use this work flow, browsing images and trying to "see" something new in a photograph or screenshot, then (no layers just paint straight on the original) start drawing over the image and use the light/composition of the original to create something new. I wouldn´t recomend this workflow for professional pieces or images you plan on selling etc. unless you change everything from the original, but it´s a fun way of playing around and making some effortless sketch!
