Personal weapon type 2 model A (automatic).

The PT-2a is a Cydanian produced fully automatic open-bolt blowback operated submachine gun. It can be loaded with a 32 round box magazine or a 70 round drum. It is chambered in the 9mm automatic round and has a cyclic rate of 700 RPM. The muzzle features a stamped U-shaped muzzle brake to mitigate the recoil of fully automatic fire. It features a folding stock that can be used as a foregrip in the folded position. It has an effective range of 100 meters.

PT-2's are frequently found in the hands of Cydanian NCOs, combat engineers and military police.

Due to its compact form and high volume of fire the PT-2 is valued as a close combat weapon by both Cydanian and Attraxian forces alike.
