Cosmic results were posted to I was clear to put up my special baby! (I kept some of the info that was taken out his backstory for the site, but it's still the same, just with slightly different wording and a few extra details. I'm a very in-detail person, okay?!) I think I'm going to start posting my applications to dA from the start now and then change them after if they get accepted so I don't have to keep going back and forth from Stash And Thanks again Shilach for accepting him and making him official! I cannot tell you enough how awesome that is! Meet my special boy! He's a little something different than most other pups; I noticed in the "Societies of the Dark Cities" section of the Dark Cities page on the website that it said "The Dark Cities would also focus on young wolves with issues and problems, be it physical or mental, and would guide them through in order to make them strong or to find a skill that suits them. They would never abandon or give up on an individual inside their pack. Respect, loyalty, trust, love and care were important. Acceptance especially was focused on, as every wolf should be able to act how he or she felt. It didn't matter if a wolf was gay or had disabilities, they would always strive to accept one another." That got me thinking; I haven't seen any survivors with perceived mental disabilities, so why not be one of the first to submit one? So here he is. :3

Name:  Tuoki Rephis

Name Inspiration:  He was partially based off a character from Wings of Fire named Whiteout. The “Tou” part of his first names comes from this, and is “out” spelled backwards. The additional “-ki” suffix is something I added to make his name more creative. His last name is “Cipher” spelled backwards, with a few letters changed to make for easier pronunciation.

Backstory:  Tuoki has always been an… unusual wolf, someone very hard to understand. It’s not that he was troublesome or distant, but he has a strange way of speaking. Considering his answers to very simple questions, such as 2+2, is “History?” or “Lavender?” or something else completely different, paired with the fact that he gets distracted by the simplest things, it can be gathered he got held back a lot in school. Very few could ever decipher what he was saying, the only ones ones who could being his parents and a few of his siblings (though even they had a bit of trouble), and many just took him as mentally challenged. He received plenty of extra care from the Pack for this, as would any other wolf with any perceived problem, as this was their culture. Despite what others may believe, he is actually very intelligent (though he still appreciated the help). When the Lunar Pack was attacked by the Shadow and Hero Clans, he and his siblings were taken to the slave camps along with many others, but were separated from each when they arrived. When the wolves who ran the camp discovered his strange use of dialect, some would purposefully seek him out to have a good laugh (he didn’t mind entertaining them, even after he found out they were only laughing because they thought he talked funny), but others would punish him by thinking he was doing it on purpose. This, however, was the only reason as he was generally very obedient, hence why he only has scars on his muzzle. When he was rescued, he was “delighted the forest hadn’t burned away”. He is happy where he is now with the other Ghost Pups and holds no grudges towards the Light, Electric, or Shadow species for what the Shadow and Hero Clans did. After joining the Ghost Pups, he was shocked to find his younger brother had already been rescued and had been spending the past several weeks-months with the others in the Desert Base. He was beyond thankful to have his brother back so that they could stand by each other once more.

Personality:  Tuoki is a caring wolf, and usually very optimistic. He tends to be a bit more hyperactive and ditzy than most other Cosmic wolves. He’s quite silly and playful and loves to make others laugh, especially if someone is feeling down. He can can become easily distracted or get lost in his own little world if not completely focused on something, like a mission. He’s very intelligent and is aware that others have a hard time understanding what he says, so he does what he can to make himself easier to understand, but he has a lot of difficulty with this, which is fairly frustrating (for him and others).

Appearance:  Tuoki is a Cosmic wolf. His coat is the typical dark blue of a male Cosmic wolf and he possesses the usual black and yellow markings. He has several scars on his muzzle that he received during his time in the slave camps. He also has three pieces of jewelry; two gold bands (one on each of his back legs), and a gold earing in his left ear.

Sexual Orientation:  Pansexual (Yes, this does mean he is capable of taking a mate, but he will only accept one if the wolf in question can understand what he says. Species and gender doesn't matter to him.)

Dialect:  (I have no idea if he'll be speaking in the series, but this is here anyway in case anyone is confused)
You might be confused about what I meant by “strange dialect”. What I meant is that instead of giving a straightforward answer, he often speaks in what you could call riddles. He has grown up speaking like this and it is something he cannot help. He’ll even say “That came out funny…” when he says something relatively normal sounding. I’ll give you an example of something he might say. Let’s say that he was with Micaiha, Nikku, Kareny, and Clareis in episode 8 when Kane appeared and Kane asked him if he knew where Kaitou was. He would reply to this question in one of three ways.
If he didn’t know where Kaitou was: “You can’t find a shadow in the dark.” which basically means, “I don’t know where Kaitou went.”
If he had an idea where Kaitou was but wasn’t certain: “Sunny days are perfect for playing hide and seek with your shadow! But I can never find mine since he hides in the tree shade all the time.” which basically means, “I don’t know where Kaitou went, but maybe you could try near the BlazingWood Pack?”
If he did know where Kaitou was: “He wanted to watch the snow fall. He didn’t feel the vines would be enough.” which basically means, “He went to go see Ruuza for himself instead of wait for Seth to get her.”

Fun Facts:
He was partially based of a two people: a character from a book series called Wings of Fire named Whiteout, and me.
The gold bands on his ankles are modeled after the enchanted shackles that Queen Diamond made to imprison and punish Foeslayer (who happens to be Whiteout’s mother) in the Wings of Fire series.
His earring was inspired by the enchanted diamond earring Foeslayer received as a gift from her lover, Prince Arctic.
He is the first AzureHowl fan character I’ve designed that isn't symbolized.
Like Whiteout, he has high functioning autism.
Like me, he has ADHD
I kept going back and forth on whether to make his eyes red or blue. I ended up going with blue so he doesn’t look too similar to Locin or Soren and because Whiteout also has blue eyes. (I couldn't use my eye color because mine are green/hazel )
