I think the old norse translation is "bird mask/helmet" actually (based off quick google search). Of course, it depends on the translation, other languages my translate it differently...

Nice work! I like how the details like the dripping water and stains add to the immersion and "atmosphere" of the whole scene. This definitely falls in the same vein of one of my favorite art styles. Well done.

i would like to use it on a website called cardsmith, you just make images of custom cards, you dont make real cards. you cant use cardsmith cards in games either.

Hhhhmmm I am feeling inspiration for a possible side quest the next time I run a D&D type game. Lost child to invoke 'the feels' & skeleton swordsman because they have been cool ever since I saw Jason & the Argonauts as a kid.

I imagine every person as an individual, so some are probably more likely to segregate, while others might not. That's more interesting everyone in every race being racist towards every other race. XD
