This is really eye-catching! I'm not familiar with the game, and I'm really not into the whole Sonic style, but your pics are always so fun to look at. The angle here and bold colors really draw you in. I especially love how the green light just saturates EVERYTHING it touches, while the rest of the piece is darker. Well done :>

You're the second person who's said the colors in this makes them happy. I tried hard to make this a lot darker and less cheery than my usual stuff, but I guess I can't get away from it

The colours make ME happy, but for a different reason to everyone else that commented - because it's always awesome to see your line art coloured in, especially by an artist/colourist as talented as you are, so I just squee and derp and so on. xD
But I think the reason why people are saying the colours make them feel happy is because despite being dark, they are all still very complimentary. For example, red can clash really bad with green, but you darkened Mighty's shell to a deeper purple-red, thus avoiding a clashing of the colours. In doing so you make the viewer's eye comfortable and avoid a jarring image (if selecting colours were like picking a chair for the viewer, you'd pick the plush armchair as opposed to the hard-backed wooden monstrosity). There really is nothing wrong with deliberately clashing the colours, if you wanted to do that. I'm glancing over the rest of your gallery, and I do see an awful lot of textbook complimentary colours. I didn't even notice until now.

...Really? I only consciously use violet and yellow together, I didn't know a lot of my stuff uses complimentary colors
