Yeah, I know. I said that I don’t like contests. But the last one was an enjoyable activity for all of us. Thus, I decided to make a new one. This time for a fantasy world. Oominor.
Create your fantasy race to inhabit the world of Oominor.
You need to create a non-humanoid, semi-humanoid, or humanoid fantasy race (sapient species) in a 2D or 3D format.
The world of Oominor is populated with various introduced flora and fauna. Like most of Oominor’s nations, thousands of creatures come from different universes and are accustomed to surviving by competing with other races from other realms where sapient cognition evolved in various entities. Like before, the competition's winner will get his species canonized in Oominor, which will be redrawn in my style later.

How to win, and what are the rules?
    ·         Your race can be humanoid or animalistic. However, the species you created must live in tribal form and cannot have its own country or kingdom.
    ·         The design must be unique and should be different in appearance from the other races that inhabit Oominor.
    ·         Your fantasy nation must have a connection to real biology. It shouldn’t be a made-up alien monster (for example, Goblins are sapient bats, and Karuras are parakeets).
    ·         The description of a race must have consistent information and must be relevant to the Oominor universe.
    ·         The race should not have magical or other extreme powers that are superficial.
    ·         Your art can be presented in 2D, 3D, sketched, or fully rendered format. It’s entirely up to you.

LANAI

Race Designation: Non-Humanoid

Universal Range: Quite Common

Original Habitat: Moon: Reclan; Planet: Kunanon; System: Arnaz

Lifespan: 400 – 700 Standard Earth Years

Sex: Simultaneous Hermaphrodite

Size: Exoskeleton: 16 feet in height, the original body: around 4 feet in length

Diet: Nectarivore

Communication: Visual

Notes: Lanai are among some of the most marvelous sapient aliens across the galaxy, known for spending the majority of their existence in high-tech synthetic bipedal exoskeletons.

Lanai are mute and communicate exclusively visually, signaling to other of their species by utilizing elongated appendages protruding from the backside of the critter. With the help of their complex robotic skeletons, they upgraded their visual language with the addition of flashing lights.

KLUASTER

Race Designation: Non-Humanoid

Universal Range: No certain data

Original Habitat: Planet: Azurq; System: Norpan

Lifespan: Possibly Unlimited

Sex: None

Size: 10 feet in height

Diet: None

Communication: Vocal

Notes: Unfortunately, little is known about these specific alien representatives of the galactic society. Nonetheless, it is well-known that the Kluasters are the only non-biological species presented in the form of synthetic androids with the same cognitive features as an average sapient being as they exhibit culture, some forms of emotions, and affection towards other individuals.

Kluasters rarely communicate with other aliens, preferring to focus on their kind. Yet, it is known that these beings were created in their own image and likeness by precursors on their homeland, which nowadays is located in the uninhabitable zone. Therefore, it is believed that Kluasters are simply vessels onto which the precursors downloaded their minds to escape Armageddon. However, this is still highly debatable.
