Description
No one knows who created the Mask or where it came from. Strix found it floating in the Boiling Sea one day and put it on, transforming him into a green-faced being that cannot be destroyed and only runs on cartoon logic. The Mask also has the effect of staving off the curse Eda passed onto him. At first all was well, but the Mask slowly began to corrupt him and he starts to care less about the consequences of his actions. It took a combination of Eda, Lilith and Walter to stop the mad boy.

By the time Luz came into the picture however, the Mask slowly starts to stop working on Strix, a sign that the curse was fighting back against its magic. When the second season rolls around, Strix has no choice but to give the Mask to Luz as there's no telling how long until the curse stops its power completely.

Strix Aluco Clawthorne is my OC. The Owl House is a property of Dana Terrace and Disney. The Mask is a property of New Line Cinema and Dark Horse Comics.
