you should look into a program called inkscape its free and easy to use its vector based so its a lot different than paint but man is it a blast to use. i think you would be good at it

oh yeah ill credit you for sure i just want to practice maya more and have filler for my portfolio . but ya for sure you will be mentioned in the 2 D design of it. i just hope i can do it justice lol im used to doing planes and characters only gun i have modeled was a revolver thats in my gallery here in deviantart
