I lazily drifted out of sleep, but didn't bother to open my eyes. It was pleasantly warm, and the bed and sheets were just so soft. So soft, in fact, that they felt almost... foreign to me. I turned to my right, facing the edge of the bed, and buried my face in the pillow. It smelled.. off. Not like my pillows. Familiar, but just not right. I moved my head a little bit to make sure it wasn't just one spot that smelled funny, but came across a whole other problem. The sheets and pillow cases were satin. You may be thinking, why is this significant?I've never owned a set of satin sheets in my life.
