Mandatory Training: First Saddle/Rider (bridle)

Thor was growing quickly as the years passed, he was now four years of age. The colt's owner, Darren, had let him out to socialize with other colts and stallions for the past few summers instead of training him. The gentle, yet boisterous stallion had come back eager to learn. His baby fur completely gone, leaving a gleaming golden champagne coat and bright hazel eyes.

Darren carefully placed the bit in the stallion's mouth, making sure to not allow the metal to clink on his teeth. They'd be leaving some time around next year for Idaho, going to train under an Olympic rider named Mikayla Turner. Darren needed the lessons in dressage and she offered both lessons for riders and horses. Darren finished fixing the bridle and allowed the stallion to stand there for a few moments, to get used to it before they went onto their lunging session. Darren kept the stallion on his toes so he wouldn't worry so much over the bit in his mouth.
