Description
After the family gets attacked by the enraged bear, Ukon and Claudia stay back to win their children some time. Claudia howls to alert the wolves in the area. Velkan happens to be just close enough to hear the distress call and brings the pups to the relative safety.

With the night approaching, Claudia, Ukon and Roku are nowhere to be found. Alana, though, is wounded severely to walk or be carried any further. So Velkan and the remaining pups settle for the night.

Alana's wounds were tended to, and she finally falls asleep bandaged and warmed up in Velkan's paws, while the rest of the pups settle down at his side. She wakes up in the dead of night when she hears a familiar voice calling her. Alana sees her mother, scarred and tired, but alive. Even her father is here, smiling and caring as always. They call her once again, beckoning their daughter to follow.

Alana does. She stands up, piercing pain in her side and chest no more. The flow of the freezing white dust surrounds her as well and she runs to her family, shocked and happy, her paws leaving a pale trail as if she has become a ghost.

GOSH THAT song hit me hard. Glass Animals - It's All So Incredibly Loud is no joke. And also yes, there should've been four pictures instead of just one. I might include them somewhere in the description later.

So this marks the retirement of Claudia and Alana. Even though they have passed away in this universe, they will be revived elsewhere.
Ukon will be dearly missed as well
It was all done in a rush because I have nerve impingement in my back and haven't even gone to work for a week. So sitting or moving in general right now is hell for me, though I am slowly recovering with the help of doctors.
