Ok, the gijinka name for this one sounds... just... xDDDDDDDDD

So here's Inés AKA my eternal rival cosplaying a gijinka Hitmontop.
The thing is - this Pokémon is perfect for her. xDDDDDD I can totally see her being a cute but sassy fighter girl. Humm, we should introduce some Hitmonnes vs Metagrossally in the story. Seems approppiate. Even the pose and everything. I love the concept of this character so much. xDDDDDDDDDD

Soooo... Long hair! yay! You can tell I really love drawing long hair, don't you? And pretty much everybody in the FT has long hair so... double yay.
I always draw Inés with dark reddish purple hair kind of like a darker version Rin Matsuoka's hair color and it comes from this pic , while she really has brown hair. And while I wanted the pic to be fairly accurate, I still like that dark purple-ish shade, so I tried to balance both colors on this one. It still looks pretty similar to the "fake" hair color but meh. Me likes.

About the outfit... Well, on the designs I did until now, every girl had a weird thing in her head because of the original Pokémon design. And I know Hitmontop's head is an outstanding trait of its design but I was a little reticent to put a hat in the girl's head because 1, I had already done that in all the other drawings. And 2, it looks much better as a skirt! Don't you think so?
Plus that thing in her head is just a smaller version of it. It looks like a banana peel... Because I just couldn't leave a trait of that importance out. xDDDD
See, every time I switch the original design around like this I end up afraid that it won't resemble the original design as much. But oh well. Opportunity cost, I guess.

Plus the heels. I love the heels. Why do I draw every gijinka girl with heels? They would be very uncomfortable for fighting. But they look cute...

One of the things I love about this pic and the whole series, pretty much is that the color is solid and consistent. At least in the real drawings, because then the scanner messed it up and... yeah. I like how the color in the outfit and hair looks, but the skin is... ahhh. I need to find a better method to shade skin tones.
