Description Once the back is aligned and pinned, insert the peek piece in between the two halves of the hood to your liking and align all three pieces so that the centre lines match up.  Pin everything in place, ready to run a line of stitching along the bias edges to join the two pieces together.  Don't forget to sew along the bottom edge as well to join the over-lapped back pieces together.

Once sewn, the lower edge can be bias-bound or left raw if you plane to incorporate the hood into your coat.

Thank you so much for this hood tutorial, you're quite talented! I've finished my Evie Frye outfit two days ago, and the hood was the one thing I couldn't get! My old hood for my WIP Evie was trashed because it didn't conform properly, and this tutorial was a life saver! Thanks again, you're AWESOME!

Thanks for the tutorial, this helps a lot. I jut decided to make a new, tighter-fitting version of Jacob's coat for everyday use, so this'll definitely come in handy.
