Description
The unlock chain for New Super Mario Bros. [DS]. Unlike previousunlock chains, there is a legend/key in the upper right corner explaining
what different colored lines mean.
To the left of the game logo are the different forms the characters can
take, modeled by Mario. From left to right: Mini, normal/Small, Super,
Fire, and Blue Shell/Koopa.
To the right of the game logo are the different powerups the characters can
collect. From left to right: Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, Blue Koopa
Shell, Mini Mushroom, Yellow Starman, Mega Mushroom, and 1-UP Mushroom.
Worlds 1 through 8 were part of the original non-NerProj variant of the
game. Worlds A and B started life as a hack of the original non-NerProj
variant of the game, titled Another Super Mario Bros. 2, done by the
man who spearheaded Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii. World 9 is
added as a way to make the game fit better with the later NSMB games.
Since the previous version, I have moved the created a new section of the
legend/key (for types of Toad Houses) to the left of the previous section
(for the types of lines), moved the entry for the "Extras Toad House" over
to the new section, added W9-Final Castle as a bonus for beating all the
levels in all four seasons, and added the Top Secret Area for beating the
Mega Goomba as Mini (which requires multiplayer, as Mini form cannot harm
the Mega Goomba in any way).

Thanks. I've got one for Super Mario Bros. and one for The Lost Levels as well. I plan to do one for at least each of the 2D Super Mario games, the 3D Land series, and Galaxy 2; maybe even the other 3D games if I can figure out how I want to format them.
