Description
This is for the ShadowxRouge club.I'm SICK of pictures and stories that have Rouge SO out of CHARACTER. To tell you the truth, it's the out of character artwork of both Rouge and Shadow that DESTROYS my "shadouge spirit" honestly. I'm not sure if i'm the only one, but i had to make this.
Eventually I'll attempt to make one for Shadow.

Hmm,i think it depends on what part of the fandom you're in. Sega keeps her eyes always half open but in Archie comics,they stay pretty open a lot of times.

Rouge definitely kicks butt,that's her nature. And though she may seem sexy because of her appearance, she doesn't really point it out. She uses her charm to get what she wants and she's very smart on how to trick others.

So i theres more to Rouge than you think. I think people just overdue it just like anything else,lol. Whether it's making her over emotional or overly sexy xD

Rouge has a caring side, she isnt emotionless, but I agree with you. She tries to not show it and sometime replaces caring moods with a tease/taunt when actually she is pointing a message the same someone with care can do.
She is open if she wants to and only to a select of few people she deems worthy...or fun for her at least...(which is added as carefree)

To be honest. It gets boring when you try to confine a character to only one kind of characterization. If you can't handle it, you shouldn't be in the fandom to begin with.

because i am a shaodw fan and according to 9 out of 10 personality tests i am shadow
but i know about rouge enough to know this though i wouldn't exactly place her EQUAL with knuckles she is somewhere around there
i look foreward to the shadow one,because i know that one allready and i WILL flame you if you screw up,you have been evilly warned

The only thing I disagree on is the "Rouge is always sexy" thing. I think she's a bit too laid back and cool natured to constantly be Ms. Ihavebigtittieslookatthem. She's cute and flirty, but sexy when she wants to be. Over using her sex appeal like that will make her seem slutty, and she's not like that.
'Member SA2? Rouge was more funny than sexy, but you knew she was hot anyway. Good times...

It's definitely aggravating when people take a character completely out of character in a fic that's anything but satire. I haven't noticed it with Rouge so much, but people constantly ruin Shadow. Even a particular person I know that claims to know Shadow better than anyone else ever possibly could...I don't think so. I'm definitely interested to see one of these for Shadow, maybe I can throw it at her. XD
I tend to twist the way characters act in my fics, but ONLY after a series of very major events causes the change in thinking in a way that makes sense for the character. I don't throw out a character's personality just because I want to use them in a story. If someone's going to apply an invented behavioral pattern to a character, then they should make up their own; then they'll be viewed as creative instead of ignorant. >_>

I think you left comments on one of my fics, "Can't Stop Thinking About You," and then I overreacted or something. But it doesn't really matter now. It was only four chapters long. And I don't know if I'll be able to write more in the future because my My Life as a Teenage Robot fanfics take up all available time devoted for fics.

Girls...getting kidnapped? I don't think I've ever written anything like that. "Can't Stop Thinking About You" was something that I THINK you took a look at maybe last year, early in the year. It's basically just straightforward Shadouge. I kinda don't acknowledge it anymore, because the way I see it now...it's just horrible.

Ah, don't worry about it. It's just something I'd like to forget now. And besides...I've been criticized for being a "lazy and disloyal" Shadouge fan, not only because I support Sonouge alongside this pairing, but also because I don't write very much Sonic-related stuff. Are people not free to support the pairings they want? Sure, Sonouge doesn't make any sense, and yeah, I know this, but I like it just because they seem cute together. And personally, I think people should be allowed to support multiple pairings with the same characters, because it's not the end of the world or anything. On top of this, I don't really know as much as I should about Sonic the Hedgehog in general so that I'd be able to write a well-developed fic.
That feels like I got off-subject, but meh.

Eh it all comes down where your gonna devote your stuff in your fics. Sometimes it's obvious what the author believes in, sometimes it isn't cause the author has control over what they want to achieve in the fic. blah blah, anyway, a lotta people feel the disloyal thing, but whenever I come across a story i usually don't read up on the author's bio. I wouldn't know if you supported this or that, i just look at the tag-line for the story lol.
Like as of now, I never knew you supported sonouge. Lol the first forum i joined was actually a sonic x rouge forum, but I never really got into it. Wasn't very exciting. They could totally make it together but they don't know each other enough to ever do it in the games. SEGA has made no attempt to bring them together and seem to be keeping their traditional ways with that. But I know in the comics they've had their things here and there. She gave him a taste lol. If I remember correctly she ended up going out with Dark Sonic aka "Scrouge"
and yeah it probably was.
but eh if you ever need a briefing of what the characters are like an act like, you can always ask me. I analyze the shit out of them.

Suggestive at times yes, but any 'cuteness' people might see in this is SHEERLY to get what she wants...
:3 only time she's ever been a 'damsel in distress' was when she ended up getting stuck at the military base that was about to blow up....
What could she have done? called for help expecting one of her current crew to come save her ass (she had the emeralds after all, if she got blown up, so would they) or just sit there an let herself die? Not an option considering her other objectives.

Honestly, I just did it because there was a scene in Sonic06 where Omega was "dead" and Rouge knocked it right off her shoulders, hiding any feelings of sadness, while Shadow had trouble hiding his own. It was in reference to that scene, and that scene only.
Once I uploaded the picture, I remembered your fan fiction, (i didn't remember who wrote it) so i just said It was an example. Two in one thing.
Well it was OOC, not my fault you made her so OOC in your own old fan fiction. lol
If i asked people, they'd get offended. I'm here to make a statement and try to save these damn characters from ruin brought on by it's fans.

I don't see what's so bad about making characters OOC. It's just a way of showing creativity.
I mean, if we drew pictures of the characters acting the way that they act ALL THE TIME we would run out of ideas for drawings. Making characters OOC is fun.
Like, when I roleplay with my friends, Shadow's a stupid idiot who loooveesss gwakamolie (sp) and he's just happy all the time. And Rouge is this lazy ass who sits around watching MTV all day and has sex with Knuckles. And Cream is an evil psyco bitch xD And Eggman's this nice guy who loves everyone and always makes cookies. And they all live on ships in the ocean xD

Because a Character is a Character, Make them out of character all the time and they're just not the same "Character"
You can do it yeah, but I'm just plain sick of it, and apparently a lot of other people are too.
It can be fun to do once in a while, I admit that myself since I've done it once or twice. But to do it all the time, bleh.
Really, I'm kind of a writer, so the aspect of a character's character is really important to me. Whenever I see a character put drastically out of character to the point that it's just stupid, it'll sicken me lol.
You don't have to follow what I say or Do what I do. So do what you want.
If you want something so different, then stop drawing the character's and draw your own "lazy ass" fan character or "stupid idiot who looooveeessss gwakamolie". That's where you can be really creative. And It's kind of why people MAKE fan characters, so they can be unique and make the character act however they want. Because they own that character and no one can tell them otherwise. Right? That's why fan characters are fun.
