I suggest Canis,
it's the first part of the Latin name for wolf, I feel it would fit because his eyes remind me of a wolves eyes, and i noticed his canine teeth in his smile.

'Canis' isn't quite 'wolf'. It's specifically dog, whereas 'Lupus/Lupa' is wolf.

I know, I said it's the first half of Canis Lupis which is the full Latin name of a wolf lol
