These are very cute and well done. I like the unusual color choices. They all read very clearly except for the Oceanography one. In my opinion, it's the weakest as a logo because it's not instantly readable like the others. The first "o" doesn't really read as an "o" to me, so I see "ceanography". Also, the different colored "y" at the end doesn't make sense. Maybe I am missing something?
I think the best out of these is the geoscience one. It's relatively simple and easily recognizable as the various layers of the earth. I also really like the Astrology one, but I feel some of the planets could be taken out.

Ah, I really appreciate all of the design related critiques you've given me! The oceanography logo is an example of me getting too enthralled with a design aspect, and I neglected readability as a result, as you've said. The color choice for the Y was an attempt to spread the color scheme around a little bit- I was already worried that that one didn't have any of the orange in it!
