Well, i was going to post this when i finished it, but that i don't think will be any time soon.

After my last portrait i did, i for some reason, decided that i wanted to do a photo-realism piece.

I found the awesomest pic of Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas on google, and just HAD to draw eet.

And yes, it is small.

I am a real sucker for punishment, as not only did i decide to do photo-realism, i decided to do HUGE photo-realism.
The ref pic is 420 x 532 pxl and my piccie is 1600 x 2500 at a resolution of 300 ppi.
Yes, i already know i'm insane.

So far, i have spent around 20 hours on the damn thing, and it's only half finished.
I have to finish his eyes, as i'm in the process of re-do them, touch up the rest of his face, re-do part of his nose, do his shirt, hair and give him eyebrows and eye lashes.
Plus anything else i find that isn't right and needs fixing/re-doing.

I started this about, 3 months ago i think, when i was staying with dad and he didn't have the internet then.
When i got back, it sat on my computer for about 2 and a half months gathering virtual dust, as my motivation just died. i spent so many hours sitting there staring at it, procrastinating, trying to find my motivation, as i knew if i worked on it with no motivation, i'd screw it up.
And then, about 2 weeks ago, my motivation came back! So now i'm able to work on him again. XD
