It can be written either way. 1 L is usually used but 2 is not wrong, just obsolete.

When did you change David Cain's code name from Texas Dave to the Swiss?

I always intended for him to be The Swiss, but I somehow forgot about that when we released his picture and made his original Arkham File and while trying to find some sort of alias for him I found this 'Texas Dave' thing, which I used thinking I was pulling a real cool piece of obscure trivia but no one really seemed to like it... myself included.
Then sometime last year or so I stumbled on my notes for making him a composite character with the Silver Age Richard Dragon villain The Swiss. I did my best to discreetly retcon it, but it's still listed on Phil's page and some of my older material as 'Texas Dave'.

Interesting idea, making the government realize he has superpowers and STILL decide to let him go. It's a little weird, especially in a world with guys like Eiling, but it's definitely an interesting approach.

I apologize if I was glib or flippant. I may have had a moment where my wires were crossed and I mistook you for someone else who has been making a lot of nonconstructive comments lately and frankly I just lost my patience with that commenter so I was being a deliberate ass. I apologize.
Your critique is fair and though I believe that connecting him to the Kanes (who already have a strong military tradition as is evidenced by Kate Kane and her father) makes a lot of sense and adds an interesting dynamic to the relationship between him and Bruce (and gives me more reason to eventually explore the entire Kane family tree (including Bruce, via Martha)
