Ah Slash the most edgy turtle next to Raph.
Been doing my own Tmnt research for my own continuity (by which I mean I read the wiki) and doing the math I have 58 mutants not counting others who are aliens or dimension X (or others). 8 of those were only toys from the 80s ei no cartoon or comic appearance (which given most of them were silly even by tmnt standards not a big loss). I might be a little off as in my list & notes I have Slash at least twice for certain list of things. But yeah...there are a LOT of mutants if you count all those in all the continuities.
I actually Roy if you want I'll send you via note my idea of those 8 toy mutants, because they're obscure I doubt anyone will request them personally but mentioning them in passing as thing might be kind of cool.

Man so much hate over stupid things and my family thinks I'm crazy. To be fair I had a great grandfather who was rascist and a great grandmother who was a bitter old lady that I heard alot about after her death years later. I did watch the retro turtles in the 90's when it was about half way through its run till the mid to late 90's when I was in kindergarten back when it was on USA network during it's after-school block. Slash does remind me of I think Raph during the red sky season of the show when they were still mutating.Β

It was around that time when he got the grappling hook and they had a new human friend that could mutate into something that I don't remember of the top of my head right now.Β

I grew up with the original cartoon of TMNT and I do not recall this character.Β And when did Baxter become black?!Β More "virtue signaling" PCBS.

Slash was in the '87 series. I know as I had the toy, recall the episode, and read the comics of the time. Also, Baxter Stockman was black in the original 1984 comics series, the 2003 TV series, the 2011 comic series, the 2012 TV series, both of the Michael Bay movies, and also in Rise of the TMNT.
Check your facts, you ignoramus. He was created black and EVERY series gets that right except for the 1987 cartoon which white-washed the character. Call it virtue-signaling if you'd like, but the only thing being signalled here is your racism, ignorance, and general ineptitude.

Contrary to popular belief, Racism, or as I prefer to name it, " Plain old Intelligent Discernment" is part of the most most basic of Human NATURE.Β It is the Bolsheviks who invented the word, racist/racism as it served to further their leftist, Marxist propaganda.Β Read some history and not just comic books.Β I freely admit that I was unaware of Stockman being black in the comics BUT I also knew the comics had all the turtles with the same color bandanna on the heads, covering their faces.Β they changed it in the cartoon so kids and everyone could tell the turtles apart.

You can rename it all you want. You're still a racist twit. You can claim that the Bolsheviks or whoever coined the word but keep in mind that "racism" is an English word so I doubt Russians created the word. In fact, I know it was a man named Pratt who coined the word, a man who was a notorious racist himself... so your kind created the word that you are now defined by.
As for history, I do read history. I read a lot more of it than I do comic books. I am what you call an informed persons with well-rounded interests. I read my history from books and not conspiracy theorist pamphlets and cheaply made alt-right websites.

The original comic version of Stockman was black, sociopathic and was his own villain. The '87 cartoon made him white, Shredder's flunky and a fly.

Slash started in the Archie comics but was an alien not a mutation, I first saw in the '87 cartoon where he was mutated from a normal turtle by Rocksteady and Bebop to do stuff they didn't want to do.
Palm trees with him however have always been a thing except for the 2012 version... shame.
