D) Neither Metropolis or Gateway City seemed to feel right

G) There was already a connection to the League of Assassins with Oliver Queen being there
H) Western Pond Turtles are native to that region

Hmm, this is an interesting take on the turtles and their story. Sort of taking elements of the platinum dunes version(which I actually didn't mind) with elements of the IDW comics and interjecting them into the DCU. Very nice.^^
