Sorry everyone for my long hiatus, but I'm back and of course with new Jaeger artwork because Pacific Rim: Uprising is just around the corner. I basically redid my original artwork with a few upgrades and a new layout and all designed a few new friends. Check them out I will be releasing over the next few days.
Introducing one of my Custom Jaeger Designs for the country of Malaysia, a Mark III Tank Jaeger Orion Victor, features retractable heavy chainsaw, shoulder mounted missile pod, multi barrel cannon and heavy armor.

Just a question, are the large jutting structures in the background cannons? The holes on the ends of them makes me think that they are cannons. That begs the question: If they are cannons, then why didn't the PPDC simply make a ring of those, or multiple, if they feel the need, surrounding the breach to mow down any kaiju that pop up? They could even just have mobile weapons platforms that float around the breach and call more in if needed, instead of making more Jaegers or that ridiculous wall.
What do you think? From a purely in-universe standpoint, would that not be more practical?
