Description
Still on my Pacific Rim & Mass Effect obsession and based on the idea that the Citadel Council heeded Shepard's warning after ME2 and spent the next three years building a plan (Jaegers) and we saw how effective something of the same scale is against the Reapers ie. the Thresher Maw) to fight the reapers. Each council race would have their own Jaegers, so introducing the Cerberus's Prometheus Wrath, not sure if the Illusive Man will play nice with his Jaegers. Check out my other Mass Effect Jaegers in my deviations.Original Sources:

Jaeger rip off, Pacific Rim is a far cooler story

Agreed Pacific Rim is a far cooler story, but since when is producing "fan art" homage for a Pacific Rim/Mass Effect mash-up a rip-off? especially when it is cited that the Pacific Rim Jaegers were an inspiration for the material in description. Just need clarification so I don't "rip off" anything else in the future.

how could pacific rim be inspiration for mass effect? pacific rim came after mass effect. actually if u see the interview with Del Torro you'd know that the inspiration for jaegers came from anime which he was massively into in his youth. the amount of pre-production work that went into pacific rim is legendary IMO; he was planning it for over 6 years, he had to make backstory, comics, books, a website, have a pre-planned sequel so that he could say "yes i'm going to make more films regardless of how successful it is SUCK IT HOLLYWOOD" (this is what all films should do nowadays, the best ones have, not make one film then wait to see how successful it is then make a sequel...especially if it is part of a trilogy like a books series, then promise to make all three from the start "cough Hunger Games cough"). Anyway, like I was saying, epic planning and thought went into Pacific Rim and when people first saw the poster they had the nerve to say "yawn...transformers rip off" transformers wishes it was as successful and interesting a storyΒ as Pacific Rim.
I apologise if I said anything offensive but you see my point right?

Oh I think I see where the miscommunication may be, this artwork is not "official" Mass Effect canon and does not exist in the game. The game MassEffect and the movie Pacific Rim have no "official" ties, association or inspiration to each other, and I agree Del Toro is awesome in conceptualizing his "Pacific Rim Universe".Β
This piece is a fan fiction/art mash-up that I made. I was inspired by Pacific Rim and I love the Mass Effect series and one day I thought to myself what if the protagonists in the Mass Effect series had the "Jaegers" from Pacific Rim to fight the "Reapers" so I came up with concept of making "Jaegers" that looked like they would be from the Mass Effect Universe but still looked like "Jaegers" and this "fanfiction" artwork was my homage to both series.

I can imagine that cerberus creates the most effective and strongest Jaeger

This fits Cerberus completely. Mass firepower combined with a solid frame. The Krogan Jaeger with Wrex and Grunt would still smash it.

Honestly I don't know why they didn't create at least one fromΒ Sovereign.

Of course Cerberus would build their own Jaegers, because the Illusive Man has the same super powers as Batman and Iron Man, a limitless credit card!
Oh great, now I want to see this thing locked in combat with Normandy Omega!
