Description
Among all the bookmarks I made, these were the most loved. Some people I gave them to wanted to frame them.

The bookmark on the right, called "God's Flower Garden,"
has a message. The one on the left has a Scripture reference from Matthew 10: 38:
"Whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Those who find their life will lose it and those who lose their life for my sake will find it."

The daisies were made into a watercolor. I thought of the brickwall behind them. I used the light around the vase on purpose. I painted in the light and thought of their beauty. I added shadow below the vase and on the tile; it's a happy little picture.

These are connected to Daisies on the Hill because these were the last picture I made of those particular flowers. I held them in my hand and painted them. I did use salt in the watercolor technique.
