RT's bf had a taxonomy essay of a bunch of cartoon dinosaurs and requested a illustration for the two of us to make. Here's a speculative paleoart of how the D taxon could look like as a somewhat accurate depiction. It's name is Raptormimus microcaudii because of it's resemblace to dromeosaurid dinosaurs, but we interpreted those guys as abelisauroids closely related to noasaurs!

It was honestly just a blast trying to figure out ways to try and fit a super cartoon depiction of a dinosaur under an accurate mold, it ended paying off so much! Working on this was so smooth and I might say that the final result is one of our favourite pieces by far

I think everyone should give this kind of drawing exercise a try once or twice
