Description
Here's my interpretation of Mega Snorlax. After spending most of the year hibernating, he slims down to his true form, almost like Perfect Cell or Freeza. There are shades of Sabretooth (from X-Men) in his design, and his claws become elongated. My initial idea was to balloon him up and make his typing Normal/Flying, but in the end I preferred this route. I combined the color of Munchlax and Snorlax's fur (skin?) into one subtle gradient. I also thought about adding a new color for accents (a la Mega Pidgeot's blue wingtips) but decided against it. The outline was done in Illustrator using the pencil brush, and the piece was colored in Photoshop.
