This is a Harry/Draco fanfiction meaning boy/boy. If you don't like, don't read. That is all.

When Harry awoke he realized right away that Draco was not there.

“Draco?” Harry called. There was no answer. He had every intention of getting up and looking for him; however, his body was still exhausted and refused to move.

“He has gone to the lake,” Morgana said, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

Harry jumped. “Please don’t sneak up on me!”

“My apologies,” Morgana said, bowing her head a little.

“It’s all right,” Harry told her, sitting up and swinging his legs over the side of the bed. “Could you take me to him?

“Yes, but first there is something I would like to discuss with you.”

“All right, then.”

“There is something that I wish to show you.”

Harry nodded and reached for the white robe the ladies of the forest had taken the care to lay out for him. The clothes he had come in were soiled with dirt and sweat. Harry gratefully pulled the robe over his head and removed his dirty clothing. The white fabric shimmered and felt like water, cool and soothing over his aching body.

Getting up, Harry followed after Morgana through the forest. The path they were walking along seemed to glow in the moonlight. They came upon a little altar standing in the very center of the path. Everything was still and quiet. There was nothing except the sound of utter silence. Harry pulled nervously at the sleeves of his shirt. Free floating an inch or so above the altar was a thick, leather-bound book. It looked extremely old and worn, but at the same time seemed to glow brighter than anything else that Harry had seen in the forest.

Morgana went right up to the book and took it into her hands. She turned around and held it in front of her for Harry to see. “This, Harry Potter, holds all the secrets of the world and magic besides.”

Harry could do nothing but stare.

“Secrets to change life,” Morgana continued, smoothing her pale hand over the cover of the vast book.

“The Book of Secrets!” Harry exclaimed.

“Yes, and if the Dark Lord was to get his hands on this book it would mean the ruin of life as we know it.” Her face became very grave. “You must not let that happen. If his plans were to succeed there would be no hope left for anyone or anything. Do you understand?”

Harry nodded, unable to speak once more.

“Now,” Morgana continued, “I believe there was something that you came here for. Something you wished to discuss with me.”

Harry’s throat unstuck and he said, “I want to know about Necromancy. I want to bring my godfather, Sirius Black, back from death. Is Necromancy possible?”

“Sirius Black, did you say?”

“Yes.”

“I can tell you right now that his soul is in a state of unrest. He is caught in that place in between and is unable to move forward.”

“How do you know this?” Harry asked.

“I know,” was the explanation that Morgana gave.

“Please, I just need some answers. I’ve been tempted and teased for so long…please, just some answers. Please.”

“I connect both the living and the spirit world,” Morgana said. “That is all I will say.”

Harry nodded gratefully. That was something. That was at least some sort of answer. Even if he didn’t understand it fully.

“So Sirius is trapped,” Harry said. “Does that mean he’s still alive?”

“He is not alive,” Morgana answered simply. Harry felt his heart plummet. “He is not really dead, either.”

“So, is it possible to bring him back?”

“That I do not know for certain.”

“Is there any hope?” Harry asked.

“There is always hope, Harry Potter. There is always hope.”

                                               ~~~
Everything was still and quiet. There was nothing except the sound of utter silence. Even though he wasn’t cold in the slightest, Harry wrapped his arms around his stomach. He ought to have come across Draco and the lake by now. Had he gone the wrong way? Just when Harry had decided to turn around and go in the opposite direction he stumbled into a clearing. The lake was directly in front of him, the mist from the water drifting to encircle him. Looking around, Harry couldn’t make out where Draco was. Then, Harry saw him. He was standing in the lake, facing away from Harry, the water nearly up to his chest. The white robe that Draco had obviously been wearing lay neatly on the bank, forgotten. In that moment, Harry didn’t think he had ever seen anything so beautiful before. He was even lovelier than Morgana.
“I’ve been waiting for you,” Draco murmured. His voice was soft but clear. Like the ringing of a little bell. He looked over his shoulder at Harry. “Join me.”
Harry undid his robe and pulled it off, throwing it aside. He walked into the water, surprised that it wasn’t too cold but in fact a very nice temperature. He took Draco’s outstretched hand and pulled him into his chest. Harry kissed him on his forehead.
“Harry, what’s the matter?” Draco asked. “There’s something strange about you right now.”
“I spoke with Morgana about Sirius.”
“And?”
“I feel like I haven’t gotten any closer,” Harry said honestly.
“We’ll find the answers,” Draco assured him.
“If you say so,” Harry said, closing his eyes. His vision from last night suddenly appeared in his head. “Draco,” Harry started.
“Yes, Harry?” Draco asked cocking his head to one side. He looked like a puppy.
“I had a dream last night.”
“Not a very good one, I take it,” Draco said looking him over.
Harry shook his head, trying to shake Voldemort’s voice out of his head. It didn’t work. “It was awful.”
“Tell me.”
“It was about Voldemort,” Harry started but stopped when Draco winced at the name. “Sorry, I won’t say the name.”
“It’s all right. Continue.”
Harry nodded. “He was talking to Wormtail and said something about needing a boy,” Harry said. He tried to talk as fast as he could, as if doing so would make it less horrible. “But that the boy was with someone else and how that was all right because… in the end ripping them apart would be entertaining!” Harry was breathing heavily. He looked up at Draco and said, “I think they were talking about us.”
Draco was silent for a moment before he answered, “Well, I imagine that they were.” He didn’t seem in the least bit surprised.
“Draco, what are you hiding?” Harry asked slowly. Wasn’t that the million Galleon question? What wasn’t he hiding? That would be a shorter answer. Draco slipped away from Harry’s grasp and wandered over to the shore. He sat down and pulled his robe around his shoulders. Harry hesitated and then joined him, grabbing his own robe and throwing it around himself. He sat down next to Draco. “You don’t have to tell me. I understand that it must be painful for you.”
“I will tell you, Harry.” Draco’s hands were shaking. Harry took his hands in his own. “It’s all right,” Draco said. “I’ve wanted to tell you. I’ve meant to tell you, but I’ve been afraid of what your reaction might be. I don’t want you to hate me.”
“I’m right here,” Harry said soothingly. “I won’t go anywhere. Not even death will make me let go of your hands.”
Draco took a deep breath and began. “This is my entire sorry story. It happened the night after I came home from school for the summer. I was sleeping in me bed when they came. Death Eaters. So many of them. They kidnapped me, took me away. I could hear my mother screaming. Merlin only knows what they did to her. I haven’t seen her since.”
“Snape told you she was safe though, right?” Harry interjected.
“Yes,” Draco agreed. He seemed to breathe a sigh of relief at this thought. “Yes, she is safe now. I believe that.” Draco stopped, obviously at a loss at how to continue.
“What happened next?” Harry asked. “Where did they take you?”
“I don’t know where we were,” Draco said. His hands were clenching onto Harry’s. “Some sort of hideout. He was there. He said that I was to be punished for the sins of my father and our family. I was tortured for days on end. They healed me just enough to ensure that I wouldn’t die. I even thought about killing myself just to make it stop. But that wasn’t the worst of it.” Draco stopped again. A single tear rolled down his cheek.
“What was the worst of it?” Harry asked in a whisper, though he wasn’t sure he really wanted an answer.
“They…violated me.” Another tear rolled out. “Not entirely. No, the Dark Lord said he wants to be the one that does that.”
“But he didn’t, right?” Harry insisted. “He didn’t!”
“Not yet.”
Harry’s head was swimming. He wrapped his arms around Draco and pulled him into his lap. Draco let his head fall on Harry’s shoulder, silent tears still running out of his eyes. Harry rocked him back and forth, humming a little melody. He waited until Draco’s breathing slowed again before asking, “How did you escape?”
“Professor Snape,” Draco said. “I don’t know what he did, or how he did it, but he got me out. The rest you know.” Draco buried his face in his hands. “Stupid! I’m such an idiot! How could I have let this happen?”
“Draco!” Harry exclaimed. “It wasn’t your fault. You did the best that you could.”
“If that was the best I could do, then I didn’t do very well, did I? Look at how I ended up.”
“In this forest,” Harry answered softly. “Next to me.”
“Covered in bruises that won’t heal,” Draco added with a scoff.
“But you’re still here.” Harry brushed the bruise on Draco’s cheek lightly with his finger. “He did these, didn’t he?”
Draco nodded. “The Dark Lord is obsessed with living forever. But not only that, he is fixated on dominating. He literally plans to suck the life out of me,” Draco said. “That’s what the curse will help him do.”
“How was he going to do it?” Harry asked, though, again, he wasn’t certain he really wanted the answer.
“By…” Draco was struggling to get the words out. “Taking… me…”
Harry was confused by what Draco meant by this for a moment. “You don’t mean…?” Harry started. He didn’t want to finish his sentence. It was too horrible. Though he didn’t know why that surprised him.
Draco nodded, solemnly. “He intends on raping me until he sucks all of my life out of me. Not to mention taking my virginity. It’s a bit morbidly humorous, actually,” Draco said darkly. “I will literally be a virgin sacrifice.”
Harry, however, did not find it funny at all. In fact, he was downright sickened by it. “You know there’s no way I’m going to let that happen.”
“Which bit?” Draco asked. “Sucking the life out of me or taking my virginity?”
“Both,” Harry answered.
“Is that an offer to help me with one of those problems?” Draco purred.
Harry blushed but answered anyway, “And what if it was?”
Draco smiled and wrapped his arms around Harry’s neck. “I might just have to take you up on it.”
Harry let his forehead rest against Draco’s shoulder. “Are you serious?” he murmured. “It can wait.”
Draco shook his head and lifted Harry’s face to meet his. “No,” he said. “It can not. If we wait any longer it may be too late.”
Draco was right. Harry slowly lay Draco down on the bank of the lake. Draco’s body was trembling all over.
“Draco, you’re shaking,” Harry said concerned. “Why are you shaking?”
Draco’s response was to shake his head and begin to pull his robe off. Harry assisted him, trying to be as gentle as he possibly could. Draco’s bruised body gleamed in the moonlight. Harry lightly kissed Draco’s neck and chest, running his hand up and down the inside of Draco’s leg.
Draco let out a shaky sigh and said, “You, as well.” Harry looked up, confused. “Your robe,” Draco said, sounding a little annoyed. “Take your robe off, off as well. I want to see you.”
Harry was happy to comply. He threw his robe aside and smiled at Draco.
“Do you find something funny, Potter?” Draco asked. Harry could tell that he was putting on a brave face.
Harry’s smile grew even bigger and he kissed Draco firmly on the mouth. “You’re cute when you boss me around.”
“Get used to it,” Draco muttered.
“I already am,” Harry said smirking. “Are you ready?” he then asked seriously.
Draco nodded. He was blushing. “Just please, take it slow.”
Harry gave Draco a little kiss in reassurance and positioned himself over him. Draco closed his eyes, clenching his fist around his discarded robe next to him. Harry took that clenched fist into his hand and held it tightly, intertwining their fingers.
“Draco, look at me,” Harry told him softy.
Draco did and Harry entered him. Draco cried out, throwing his head back and tightening his grip on Harry’s hand. Harry froze as Draco heavily breathed in and out.
“Are you all right?” Harry asked.
Draco didn’t answer and just continued to hyperventilate. Harry made up his mind in a second and began to pull out. Draco’s free hand grabbed Harry’s hip to make him stay still.
“St—stay,” Draco gasped. “Just stay with me.” Harry did, staying as still as he possibly could. “All right,” Draco said. “I’m all right. Please move.”
Harry did so, rocking gently back and forth. Draco moaned and wrapped his legs around Harry’s waist, forcing Harry to go deeper. Their eyes locked and Harry pressed his lips against Draco’s.
“Feels great,” Harry managed to gasp out.
“Harry!” Draco exclaimed.
It didn’t last long. Not nearly as long as they had hoped. Harry lay with Draco nestled up against his side. Their robes pulled over to cover themselves. Harry with Draco’s hand, tracing the lines with his finger. Draco had stopped shaking and had just about stopped moving as well. Harry wondered for a moment if he had fallen asleep.
“Oh, Harry,” Draco said with a sigh.
Harry smiled. “I love you,” he said. Draco looked up at him. There were unshed tears and doubt in his eyes. “I do,” Harry assured him. “I know you don’t believe in it and can’t say it back but that doesn’t change the fact that I love you.”
“Thank you,” Draco said. From the look on his face Harry knew that he meant it. “Thank you for loving me. I don’t know what these feelings are inside of me but if love feels half as good as this, then I’ll take it.”
“I love you,” Harry said again. “I really love you.”
And for the first time in his life, Draco truly wanted to believe it.
