Description
Stippling is EVIL but it's worth it, I think. My dad thinks this is the best thing since sliced bread. It's probably worth mentioning that my dad has water on the brain.

I actually dug through your entire gallery to find this because I quite liked your avatar and wanted to see it bigger. Fun stuff! I love the inking style, it's not that sleek modern style that everyone and their dog seems to do now... it's got a funky bit of personality to it, and I gotta admit, I like that. I think it looks great, kind of like an old book's illustration.

She does look a bit like Anne Hathaway... someone else too. I can't think of who...
It's a cool image, high energy without much movement and well composed. I like the hair as negative space. There is something really cool about hairs curling in from the shadows representing her outwardly growing hair... you could build whole images aroung that idea. Her shoulders and face are very cool too. Brava!

Katherine Heigl maybe?
My teacher liked the negative-hair-space as well, but wasn't sure about the scribbles coming in from the background. It's my favorite part about it, though, so I'm not sure what to think. Thank you!

Ooh, that's good, but no...
Yeah, the scribbles make it! You tell her Kenneth said so!

Yee-haw!! (Uhm... that was probably innappropirattee. I seem to be a bit giddy tonight. Must be all of the outdoor activity and sleep deprivation.)

I have random bursts of wit and cleverness, followed by long bouts of ennui (I hope I used that word right.).

Ennui following wit... no wonder so many comedians hang themselves...(You used it perfectly.)
Although you don't strike me as an ennui and malaise sort of girl. You don't strike me as perpetually bubbly or anything, but...

I like to think I'm a mix of ups and lows, and adding up to a steady stream of mediums.

Yeah... that's too bad too. Mitch Hedburg(spelling?) comes to mind.
A steady stream of mediums... you are just spouting titles and catch-phrases left and right today. I suppose I would be a bit suspicious if you weren't. Even intelligent and well rounded highschool girls have a rough job.

As much as I would like to continue spouting, this rough job needs to go to bed! I shall carry on tomorrow when time needs to be wasted in class.

Ten is a good hour to go to bed, I usually go later. I just figured that since it is always later where you are then I should probably tough it out, heh.

It is a good time, that's why a usually got to bed then, but for some reason, every night my dad asks what time I'm going to bed. Erks me so! Tough it out? You older people are so brittle!

ErnestAbacus In reply to Ruby631 [2008-03-24 18:34:14 +0000 UTC]
Ha ha ha. My ankle is brittle, the rest of me is pretty tough. (which should not be read as strong.) I find sleep to be rather elusive, so when it comes easily I take advantage. Even though I don't much care for sleeping, it is necessary if I intend to speak clearly the next day. My toungue is the first thing to fall in the face of sleep deprivation.

Your poor tongue! Sounds embarrassing. Iām still pretty competent with a lack of sleep myself, but that will probably change with time.

ErnestAbacus In reply to Ruby631 [2008-03-24 19:58:30 +0000 UTC]
My tongue thanks you for the sympathy. I am not bad if I'm just awake for sixty hours or so, but after that my conversation becomes labored. Sleep deprivation gets people more than they think, just like alcohol. I do notice that I can perform above and beyond when necessary if I get six or more hours a night. I can perform standard operations with ease with only four. Which is funny, when I was your age I needed the six to eight hours of sleep. Then the insomnia started and I learned to cope. heh.
