Ghostskin is a forest guardian that died.
Before he was a cryptid of sorts, now he's just a dead one.

Ghostskin is a child-like spirit, he always craved attention but when he died he had a habit of scaring people away, he got a bad reputation so he started looking for attention by pulling stuff like pranks.
Ghostkin always had the ability to shapeshift into animals using skins and hides, when he died he started making custom skins by sewing parts together and gaining 'custom' forms. All the skins go through a bleaching process that completely whitens and purifies them.

Ghostskin and his forest where buried underground after dying and living on as a 'ghost' woods.
