Hololos a platoon leader- he went blind so he had his eyes replaced with the pyramid thing you see on his head.
it essentially gives him a 'digital' vision- he can see all around him at once, by mapping out it out. This means he can't see in colour though. His cape helps this a lot- acting like a computer and connections to the pyramid via a strong magnetic force.

His hat ears can be split apart and be made into solid holograms he uses for a number of things, although its limited so he has to be smart with it.
