The world that Ronnie is from, Werepeople can be any 'wereanimal', they are not humans, and they cannot infect people, their 'wereism' is just part of their biology. If an animal exists, there's a wereperson of that animal that also exists (Wereticks, wereels, werezebras, etc.)
