Name: Adam Applelight
Sex: Male
Race: Half Earth Pony. Half Unicorn.
Parents: Applejack and Flim.
Cutie mark: A shooting star (Cloudchasers). It not only represents his magic, but also his desire and wish to be something greater.

Bio: Adam Applelight is the first born son of Applejack and Flim. He has the same build as Flim, and his mane/tail color, but has his mother's coat color. He shares their both green eyes. At an early age he knew he didn't want to be an apple farmer like most of his relatives, but he didn't know what else he could be. Since his father is a unicorn, he taught Adam magic, but when Adam grew older he wanted to learn more than his father could teach him. His mother sent him to Twilight's house so she could teach him all about magic. Twilight quickly saw his potential and made him her student (with his and his parents permission of course).

While performing a powerful spell he gained his cutie mark and became the Element of Magic. He was worried his parents would be upset since his cutie mark wasn't an apple, but Applejack assured him that they would love him no matter what.

He always wears the red scarf around his neck and a hat similar to his mother's. If he has to use the Element of Magic he'll take off his hat to put the crown off, since it falls off when he has his hat on. The scarf was given to him by his Aunt Applebloom before she died, so he treasures it.

Personality: Having a mother like Applejack, the element of honest, you'd think he'd be just as truthful as she is, but having a father who's life work (was) deceiving ponies into whatever he said makes that hard. Instead he can sweet talk a pony into almost anything, but luckily he's learned to only do that when necessary and not tricking his classmates into giving their lunch money to him. He can be prideful and headstrong just like her, but only when it comes to his magic. He might come off as a jerk to some ponies, but he's loyal to his friends and family.

Unlike his relatives he doesn't like to do manual labor and instead uses his magic to harvest apples or for anything he needs. Because of this he's rather weak and can easily be taken over by a filly or mare. Applejack thinks he's too dependent on his magic, but Flim assures her, he uses it just as much as a regular unicorn would be.
