Description
A line art created by I love her art, especially her new series Simon and Vya. If you haven't checked her out yet, you should. There's probably something you'll like there.Oh my gosh. I don't think you guys can tell, but this sucks if you zoom in on SAI. I'm happy yet not happy with it. I hope Saxitlurg and you guys like it. This took forever to color! (Mostly because I left it alone for a long while). I colored everything expect for the second picture. I dunno if I was suppose to.
Also, thanks to all my friends' that helped me on this!

OMG! This is SOOOOOOOOO cute! (and no one's ever colored my line art before, this makes me happy X3) You did a really nice job, all the colors are spot on (and you could have colored the second picture if you wanted to, I think I was just tired by that point, and that's why I didn't do proper line art for it) But I love it all, thank you

Yay! I'm so glad you like it! This was my way of showing my love of your art. I'm glad you love it! Also, ignore the white mark on his arm. I had saved and left, so when I colored it it looked like a scar, and I couldn't erase the color around it. Are all SAI's like that, or just mine?

Awwwwwwww *huggles* I do love it Hmm...that's quite odd about the white mark....I use SAI all the time and almost never finish anything in one sitting and I've never had that happen. Are you using multiple layers or are you doing everything on the same layer? Because the only way I can think that's happening is if you use all one layer and are using the bucket tool to fill in your color. Then when you saved it you saved it as a .jpg and opened it back up and started doing the same thing again. Is that right? Or are you doing something else? (if I know what you're doing, then I can probably help you prevent this sort of thing in the future)

-huggles back- I've been using different layers. The most I use is two, but I used three for their mouths and glasses in this picture. I use the marker for coloring. I do save them as jpg. Probably why when I try to exit it has me save again.
(Thank you for the hug.)

Welll it's good you use different layers (I was hoping I was wrong about that) I use a TON of layers, it's not uncommon for me to use over twenty layers, twice that if I use a lot of detail in the background or lighting. But saving as jpg was probably why that happened. Because of course jpgs squash everything, and you have to put the top layer on multiply to color under it, so you wouldn't have been able to pick up where you left off. Save it as a .sai document or a .psd, and your layers will be preserved and you won't have that problem

haha, yeah, things get really complicated really fast when you start doing shading and lighting. And I'd rather make a new layer so I can color and erase freely than risk messing up what I've already spent hours working on.
