Description

This is an old drawing I did back in January in response to a challenge on Twitter! I-I mean X! Here, we have Evil Mackenzie! She was once a faithful and religious kid who was manipulated by a demon into thinking she was abandoned by those she worshipped. The Demon who manipulated her, Sylph took this broken child and had her wreak havoc within the mortal realm in her name. Now, at 19 years old, Mackenzie is considered a worldwide threat. The amount of people who’ve crossed her and lived to tell the tale can be counted on one finger.

One thing you should know about me. I LOVE Alternate Universe stories, in all of their forms. Something about taking something familiar but making it both the same, but completely different is so interesting. Recent examples would be from Marvel with Spider-Man! Or Sony with… W-with Spider-man… Huh…
Well, either way, those are two of my favorite Marvel examples! However, my all-time favorite example has always been DC Comics’ Earth 3 concept. Where the heroes are the bad guys and run the world. Not only do they change their origins, but they also (slightly) change the design theme! Batman is Owlman, Superman is Ultraman, and Wonder Woman is Super Woman, etc., etc.

The joy of this concept is to explore how things are different now that the good guys are evil. What the Hiarchy is, how the heroes of that world protect innocent civilians. It’s just… amazing, all things considered. I’m getting side-tracked. All this is to say that I dabble in Alternate designs for my characters. Not all of them, mind you, just the freaks. Hell, Mackenzie alone has 3 other AU concepts that I’ve drawn before. Maybe I’ll show them off one day.
