Description
Lately I’ve been suffering from depression and I want to tell you that you should NOT pretend or joke about this because it is serious. It drains all your happiness and positivity away and pretty much any reason to wake up in the morning. People who are normally your friends start to become a bother or at the very least a chore for you to be with. Everything you usually love is not in your head anymore and you feel like you’ve lost it and it definitely was important to you, but you don’t have the pep and strength to go looking for it. You feel emotionless even when you manage to laugh or smile at someone.
Depression isn’t merely a feeling; in this case, it’s a disease. It physically hurts the person.
My parents are currently going to find someone who can help me, but I’m not sure how I’ll do in school. My grades have dropped a good amount somewhat compared to what I did last year, but my mom didn’t mind, so there’s that.
I’ll post more about these kinds of things when something new happens.

Dang. I'm sorry fer ya. Couple suggestions:
1. try to be with your friends a lot. they'll help you.
2. Don't kill yourself.
3. try to take naps sometimes. Sleeps can help with depression... or it did for me anyways.
4. try to have fun if you can. Sports, video games, writing, drawing, whatever you do to have fun.
5. Ask for help with yer depression, I guess.
Yeah, well I don't know much about depression, but I can help.

Oh gosh, this is old, heh.
Thank you so much, but I'm much better than from when I made this. I've been on medication and talked with a therapist for almost a year now and I'm doing fine.

Depression is really tough and the worst part about it is there is no magical cure to it. Even on antidepressants you have to fight back against it. Most of the time it's really hard, and I won't lie I tried to give up a couple times, but there is always a shitton of people there for you.
The good news is your parents are looking for someone for you to talk to. Mine didn't believe in mental disorders and by the time I'd gotten to therapy and been put on medications I had a few scars here and there. And once you get to therapy and start getting all the bad out, things start to feel better.
Things are going to be tough for a while, you better believe that it isn't going to be easy. It never is, but I know you can do it Jenna! We're all here to help you.
I'm not too good at expressing my concern when it comes to this stuff, but I really do worry about you. So if you ever need anything or want to talk about it you've got my number.

I know it won't be easy, but I'll try to think positively about it and all.
And thank you Mackenzie.

Yes!!!! Positive thinking is always really good. And don't forget to reward yourself for doing things because even the things that seem simple like waking up are a big deal when you're depressed.

I know.
It's a gripping monster that won't let go.
Some people give up, some don't.
Those who do make my demon worse.
Depression is a knife for everything that's happened piecing deep into your heart.
I hope you get better...
*hug*
