I've been catching up with mlp and honestly? It's gotten so much better than I gave it credit for; season 6 and especially 7 had excellent writing and a lot of great world building and I can't wait for season 8. Also I watched the movie last weekend and it was cute, might draw some characters from it sometime.

Here are two VERY old pony OCs of mine. If you've been following me for a few years you know that the one on the left is Checkmate, but you might not know the one on the right. Her name is Koi Krank, a crystal pony I came up with when I was 15 but never drew since then. Thinking about making these two roommates of some sort.

Quick bio:

Checkmate:

Pegasus pony, works in a game shop in Cloudsdale but lives in Ponyville. Competitive, but overall really nice and optimistic. Got her cutie mark when her friend couldn't make the chess tournament and she had to fill in for her. She's also really good at card games and other games in general.

Koi Krank:

Originally from the Crystal Empire, before Sombra's reign she worked as the empire's mechanic, but wasn't too liked, however, due to her easily frustrated attitude and inability to take criticism. She earned her cutie mark when one of her koi fish at the time lost its tail and she made a new one for it. Since then, her specialty has been aquatic engineering.
