I tried watching steven universe awhile back an the episode was something about steven getting cat fingers...I think? it didnt really appeal so I never got into but apparently tumblr tells me it got really fucking intense and I dont know if I should cave too xDĀ

Honestly, when I first watched it I started with the first episode and I... Wasn't impressed. Like at all. I remember even writing a mini "review" on how I felt like two years ago:Ā ruby-orca-616.tumblr.com/post/ā¦ (keep in mind I was in a bad place when I wrote that so that's why I was so negative and shit).
But yeah, the first episodes are ok, nothing I'd call spectacular. However, as you keep watching the episodes get REALLY good and you get better insight to the characters and there's LGBTA representation and all sorts of things. I'd recommend watching it!
Plus if you do then I can see what the characters look like in your style lol
