So, very very, slowly,

I often wonder why

You seem to hate me.

I guess I'll never get anything right for you. As hard as I try, I'll always get something wrong.
But it doesn't matter now. I have something you never will.
I have the experiance. I know what it feels like to be treated like this. Oh, I know that feeling well.

I know what not to do.
I can use that to my advantadge. My children will never have to go through what I did.
So thank you.

For all of the tears of anger and sadness you drew from me.
For all of the days I felt dejected. That I was worthless because of your words.
For every lonely day spent in my room, clinging to my last shred of will to live.
Thank you.
Because now I know what a mother should never do to their children.
