Star-crossed lovers...

Another picture from that one series. A friend of mine (cough Lisa cough) is also in Independent Study and we were having trouble figuring out to do for our next project. I don't remember who suggested it, but somehow we wound up with "GINGER!" as our topic. This reminded me of my red-head from the Cursed project and I figured I'd draw her.

Thus I took the phrase "star-crossed lovers" which, by Wikipedia's definition, means: "... a pair of lovers whose relationship is often thwarted by outside forces.". If you already read their bio, you would know that these two are sickeningly in love. However, you would also know that they are tragically cursed with the inability to look at each other. This has become a nuisance in their relationship and while they are with each other all the time, both will testify that they dreadfully miss the other.

And yes, Stephanie, this also doubles up with a theme of wishes now I actually drew this whole thing up, stars, clovers, dandelion puffs and all, without even considering the wishing implications of those items xD Oh the wonders of the subconscious! The reason for the dandelions and clovers being present is that weeds are a motif for this couple in the story. Flowers do not grow in the town, thus he resorts to showering her with pretty weeds to express his love.

OH! And they are named now \o/ Thanks for helping out everyone Re-introducing: Agatha and Hans!

All traditional, all colored penicils, only slightly tweaked in photoshop for your viewing pleasure. Hope you like it.
