I haven't been able to post since I haven't been able to use the computer. I was also kind of busy but I did find some time to sketch a little. I'm planning to base my next few kaijus on different greek myths and legends. Maybe not just greek, I dunno. I mean, most monsters in mythology can act as kaijus in their own right, just make them bigger. For today, I just have a simple headshot of the ceryneian hind sacred to Artemis. She's a deer with pure gold antlers. I wanted to lean into her Artemis mythology and make her antlers look like a moon and the stars. If she was bigger, the weight of the gold might be a bit cumbersome but then again, when have kaiju followed the rules of physics? I do have a full sketch of her so look forward to that in the future!
