Now, for something 'different' from what I usually draw. I kept being recommended the music video to 'Lone Digger' - Caravan Palace on YouTube... and I have since watched it repeatedly because the animated setting is pretty neat and the electronic beat is genuinely catchy (as someone who normally doesn't like that type of music). Other than the... surprising events that unfold as a result of rising tensions between rivalrous predators , I did admittedly find myself mesmerized by the sexy gazelle figure dancing in her slow, seductive fashion. I tried to do the lighting in a similar vein to the music video's animation style, and I wanted to exemplify the crossover between sex and violence (which, I have heard, is a theme that plays a significant part in media like 'Beastars' for instance).

Though I have had my criticisms in the past, I think I would like to occasionally incorporate eroticism or seduction into future works. And on an interesting note, it turns out that 'lone digger' is slang for someone who dances solo at a night club or disco. That would certainly, partly explain the twist in this gazelle stripper's fate by the end!
