Description
The idea of doing a drawing to explain abilities initially came from me wanting to do an aura forms sheet but then I thought about doing one for the Magical Forms while writing a description for one of the Sina's Magic Magicians. I decided to keep this simple as a lot of the more unique abilities of each form are used by a single character, also if anyone is interested every form but healing can be learned as it is a natural ability. A lot of characters will stick to using one form as they feel more comfortable relying on their natural ability, also I may do a second sheet for the other Magical forms such as Summoning I just wanted to focus on the main 5 for this.Healing-Basically the user passes on their magical energy into a second Magician to either allow their magic to heal a wound/give them more stamina (if exhausted) or to have the users magical energy restore the receivers used up magical energy. More advanced techniques will be stuff like constant regeneration or energy/damage but I have only show cased Sina as a healer so far, although Wyhui was recently given an ability called reverse healing which increases pain from a wound/will drain magical energy. Each character who uses this form has a symbol that they generate their magic to create which is a medium they use to perform healing skills.
Elements-With this ability the user can perform Fire, Ice, Lightning or Earth abilities, the user can perform all 4 if trained but most people can use all 4 (For example a character called Will initially used all 4 but eventually settled on focusing on Fire). A magician can either use it offensively for elemental based attack or defensively through the use of coating to for example give an ally immunity to ice or the others. This is one of the more offense based abilities thus is typically Magicians second learned form as it can be combined with other forms well. Certain Kingdoms prefer to rely on specific elements for example the Desert Kingdom has an Earth preference.
Weaponary-This form is used to generate weapons made from the users magic and is similar to elements as the user can either choose to generate a variety of weapons or focus on a single weapon as their preference. It is mostly shown as being an offense based ability as it is as most abilities are focused on attacking but recently I had Wyhui create a wall of spears to trap people so a Magician could use the weapons form other things, just like elements this ability can be paired with other forms as well for example a sword and fire magic could be used to create a fire coated sword.
Potions-Originally this was none magic based as I did not think it threw but eventually I came up with its abilities being to replicate an already made potion/boost its effect. Potion Magicians tend to focus on learning on how to make their potions through memorizing or finding the most effective ingredients to maximize their effect. Potion makers tend to take on a more support role and rely on being defended by their allies then give them potions to help boost their abilities. Potion making is the easiest thing to learn but those who's magic resolve around the from tend to of been raised to be able a variety of potion types.
Illusions-This from has two branches the first involves making magical energy clones of the user which can be used to trick an opponent or to perform another magical form such as elemental attacks or weapon wielding. The second is mental based illusions where the user can trick an opponent into believing they performed one of their attacks or they defeated the illusion user. The user can cast mental illusions on multiple opponents but it would be at the cost of a lot of magic as well as exhausting the user. Clones can be made at any point which is what makes it easier to do meanwhile the mental from relies on eye contact but can be a lot more dangerous.
