Description
I think I have conquered my fear of heavy armor drawing :3, decided to re draw Cherche as in the first drawing I drew her in chibi style to bypass my issue of drawing out her armor in a half body drawing. I struggled on my first attempt though but that was due to me trying to draw her legs right next to each other which made her body too thin so spaced them out a bit more on attempt 2. Cherche is a dragon rider who has named her ally Minerva, she comes across as one of the kindest female characters so her supports tend to be quite sweet. In her supports with Lon'qu he tells her about his past and his failure to protect someone lead to him fearing women but Cherche helps him get past the incident which makes them one of my more favorite pairings =^-^=.

As mentioned before I tried to draw out the legs first but positioning was a challenge so I drew out the skirt section of her armor out which helped me to position the legs a bit more easily. I drew her hair flow a lot wider than the original as when I drew out the individual sections flowing away from each other they looked out of place so I just drew them together. Was a little worried about the colouring stage as I was not sure on the right colours to use but I think the choice of light gray for the metal armor and blue gray for the leather armor worked out quite nicely and none of the sections really got lost. The pose also came out quite nicely and both arms were surprising easy, twas expecting to have to re position the right one a couple of times to get an ideal bend but apart from making it a bit too wide the first attempt went well.
