Got this game which means I now have 5 Dragon Quest games :3, thought why not draw him since the story has been fun so far as he lives on island where the people have been lead to believe the rest of the world is covered by the seas. It took me over an hour to get to the first battle but that was probably down to me playing blind so I will probably get to it quicker in a second play through, honestly I think having battles come later works well with the sort of isolated island theme of the game :3. I really like this design as I feel it does not stand out amongst a crowd as much as the other main characters I have played as which makes me excited for him to become the hero of the game =^-^=.

The original image had a shadow in it so I thought why not try and draw it as it feels like forever since I have attempted one, the shape did not work out but I think it works well as an effect. I really like the character style as it reminds me off 9 which was my first DQ game and one I played the most, the green outfit always looks really cool and I feel proud of the hands on hip pose but I wish I made the arms a bit wider.
