Description
Kalin is my favorite character in this series as I both loved him as a villain and a redemption character, his story was that him and the protagonists would defeat factions trying to take over their home city. They eventually beat them all but Kalin became over ambitious and wanted to defeat the security and the main protagonist Yusei stopped him for his own good but from Kalin's view point it looked like he was betrayed and he later joined a group called the Dark Signers as he wanted to get payback on Yusei. In their duel he realizes the truth and after the Dark Signers are defeated he goes to a Western based town and joins a faction that duels to decide who is in charge and gets its wealth, hoping to lose so that he can be punished for his previous actions. However he eventually challenges and defeats one of the factions leaders and stays behind in the turn to try and help it become more peaceful.

This drawing wen't a lot better than expected as Yugioh's clothing designs can be a pain to draw (Seriously look at characters who wear jackets, they have so many points on them o-o). Despite that I feel really happy with how his jacket came out as I think the folds and decorations came our good and I'm proud of the gray colour (a lot of his outfit had a gray tones so was worried they would get lost in each other). His hair was probably one of the funner Yugioh character hair styles to draw as it not too over the top but I do like the two points at the top style, I kind of prefer his shorter hair style in series one though. Only gripe I have with this drawing is that the right shoulder is a bit too thin, drew it like this as I struggled drawing the bend on his arm.

I finally decided to draw him as lately I saw the originally ending of the Crash Town arc where he gets one of his monsters to hold a gun to the antagonists head then take out his remaining life points and as the guy fell Kalin just walked off away and it was so badass .
