Description
Ken is my favorite character from the first series although Daigo is a close second as both are very good support characters, I lean more towards Ken as his personality is very interesting. Basically he uses his puppets to talk as due to moving schools a lot due to his family being performers thus he doesn't make friends often but the show builds up to him eventually talking without the puppets which was a great bond moment. Also his Beyblade is called Kerbeus which is a Cerberus which I think is an amazing representation of Ken due to him having two puppets representing two heads then Ken being the third one of course . One thing I find funny is that he takes off his puppets to launch his Beyblade but then puts them back on after the launch, his special attack is called Chain Launch also. A thing that bugged me though is in Evolution he was not recruited for a team as he was showcased as being one of the stronger characters later in the series.

Had a lot of fun with this drawing as nothing at all was difficult with it plus trying out the hand puppets wen't pretty well, I used the right one to work out how I was going to size Ken's body. I really like the chain decoration on his jumper as it both represents his special attack and his bit beast being a Cerberus as in a lot of designs they have chains holding them back. Something I have not mentioned yet is a few characters in the first series are given the one sharp tooth pointing out of their mouth, Ken is the first character I have drawn who has that feature just thought it would be worth mentioning. His hair style was interesting to try out as it spikes up but is also long flowing downwards which is a style I have not tried drawing out in a while. The planks are from a scene where the main protagonists battle in a dojo against another team, I added them to add a little scenery like the Ukyo drawing.
